Alcohol and drug policy

In the event of an accident/incident, the immediate supervisor must ensure that all employees involved undergo an alcohol and drug test, this is done as part of the investigation of the workplace accident.

If alcohol or drug influence is suspected, the supervisor is contacted. The supervisor is then responsible for ensuring that an alcohol and drug test is carried out.

The above tests are carried out according to LN Industrimontage AB’s procedures, unless the police are involved, then the sampling is carried out according to their procedures.

Random checks are carried out according to the following procedures adopted by LN Industrimontage AB.

  • The tests are carried out by an external supplier who is a certified sampler and has appropriate training. Or internal staff trained by a certified supplier.
    Drug tests are analyzed at an accredited laboratory.
    LN Industrimontage has zero tolerance for alcohol in exhaled air.
    Zero tolerance applies to tests for other drugs.
    Refusal to participate in alcohol and drug tests is equated with a positive result.

    The employee will be called to a meeting with their immediate manager. In the event of any refusal, the employee will be suspended until the meeting has taken place.
